The sleepy town of San Andres is one of the farthest municipalities of Quezon Province. It is located at the southeastern tip of Bondoc Peninsula, approximately 180 kilometers away from the provincial capital Lucena and about 310 kilometers far from Manila.

San Andres is known as gateway to Alibijaban Island which is now becoming a popular tourist destination. Aside from Alibijaban Island, it is also famous for its waterfalls such as Nabaroto Falls and Banaba Falls otherwise known as Tigbi Falls. There are also mountains and peaks in town that offer enthralling adventure to hikers of all levels including Mount Ginamuan, Mount Banaba, Mount San Andres, Mount Morabe and Mount Matsimbahan, among others.

If you are heading there by public transport, there are buses from Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) and Starmall Alabang that will take you straight to San Andres for a seven to eight hours journey to the tip of Bondoc Peninsula. Alternatively, there are also buses and vans from Lucena Grand Terminal that will take you to San Andres in four to five hours.
