It all started with my fascination of the underwater world, the colorful marine life that covers three-fourths of the globe. I dreamt of exploring the rich aquatic life beneath the Earth and now that I fulfilled the dream I am taking a new challenge.
DIVE TUBBATAHA 2010!
Tubbataha is the Philippines’ only marine natural Park and is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a place of global importance, being preserved for generations to come. It is home to some of the most beautiful coral reefs in the world. Rising from the volcanic depths of the Sulu Sea in the western Philippines, these magnificent atolls encompass an astonishing diversity of marine life. From majestic whale sharks to elusive seahorses – Tubbataha supports an unparalleled variety of marine creatures. Colorful reef fish crowd corals growing in the shallows while sharks and manta rays haunt the steep drop offs to the open sea. [1]
Together with Ate Claudia Artazo, we are hoping to see with our own eyes Tubbataha in 2010. In preparation for this, we are aiming to dive to some of our famous diving destinations and take special diving courses prior to 2009. This year I am planning to dive in Anilao, Moalboal, Surigao, Samal, Coron, Dumaguete and Puerto Galera.
In the coming days a special site will be setup for the mission. The site will contain all events and preparations leading to Tubbataha in 2010.

happened to read across this page,, seems like everyone is soo excited to dive Tubbataha.. you can visit our website: http://www.tubbatahareef.org for more info and we have a facebook page: ‘friends of tubbataha’. we are pleased to inform you that we had more dive boats this year.. and the number is expected to increase next year.. you still have time to book for your liveaboard trips.. 2011 season booking has started already in some of the dive boats..

Tubbataha is my ultimate dream destination!I had my introdive last December in Coron and i’ll be diving in davao and el nido soon.I’m planning to get a certification this year.Ang target ko maka at least 50 logged dives muna before exploring tubbataha. Goodluck sa atin!!!

Hopefully I get to travel more this year…
