Bolshoi Theater

It opened in 1824 and became the center of the best Russian opera and ballet. The theater has, however, faced several reconstructions and the most recent one took place in 2011. The architecture and purpose of the building have never been changed so it provides meaningful insight into the interesting Russian past.
