Less than an hour away from the diving paradise of Moalboal in Cebu is the town of Badian, home of Kawasan Falls.
Kawasan Falls is a multi-layered falls located in Barangay Matutinao. The water cascades through layers of falls that goes directly to Matutinao River, awarded as the cleanest inland body of water in the country for the year 2000, 2001 and 2002.

The waterfalls is 1.5 kilometers from the highway. To reach the site, one needs to walk for 15 to 30 minutes on a clear trail.
Entrance fee is P10.00 per person. Bamboo rafts that can sit up to five to eight persons are available on the site for rent (P300.00 for half an hour) and a must try to experience the waterfalls massage. Cottages and picnic tables are also available for rent.

Food should not be a problem, you can bring your own or order on the restaurant in the area. Guides are available on the site if you want your luggage to be carried for a minimal amount.
