Tinuy-an Falls

Bislig, Surigao del Sur

Seeing the massive waterfalls with a touch of rainbow on a sunny morning is worth the long travel to Bislig in Surigao del Sur. Measuring 95 meters wide and 55 meters high, the majestic Tinuy-an Falls stands proud as the province’s crown jewel.

The utterly breathtaking sight literally took my my breath away and left me in awe the very first time I saw it. At long last, I have finally seen this marvelous waterfalls which has been in my bucket list for quite some time now.

Located in Sitio Sote, Barangay Burboanan, Bislig City, Tinuy-an Falls can be reached by traversing a rough road from city proper. Private vehicles can drive directly to it and park at the designated parking area outside the fall’s compound. Meanwhile, public commuters can hire a tricycle or habal-habal that will take you to the waterfalls in half-an-hour from the city proper.
