El Nido, Palawan

El Nido

El Nido, the northernmost town in mainland Palawan is a paradise made up of forty five islands and islets scattered in Bacuit Bay that harbor some of the best white sand island beaches in the country.

But aside from these island beaches, El Nido is also home to some equally beautiful inland beaches such as the twin beaches of Nacpan and Calitang, located around 17 kilometers north from the town.

Nacpan Beach boasts of approximately four kilometers stretch of cream sand beach that meets with the smaller Calitang Beach, both are still generally bare, unspoiled and unexploited.

Nacpan and Calitang Beaches are best viewed by trekking a small hill on the southwest tip of Nacpan Beach. When in El nido, never miss this sight!

waaahh.. One of the best tourist spots in the Philippines! 🙂 Great shot.

  2. This place really deserves to be the #1 travel destination in the world. It’s great you’ve featured less popular islands of El Nido 🙂 sometimes these are better than the exploited/commercialized ones.
