Mural Painting at Quezon Avenue Tunnel

Quezon City, Metro Manila

Last July 14th, the Save Philippines Seas and Dolphins Love Freedom Movement together with volunteers from various sectors added some colors to Quezon Avenue Tunnel with the Giant Mural Painting project.

The mural which artistically depicts the diverse marine biodiversity of the Philippines is drawn by AG Saño’s team and colored by the volunteers. The project is also supported by Metro Manila Development Authority and Department of Environment and Natural Resources.

Coming from Boracay by Ro-Ro, I headed straight to Quezon Avenue for my shift that started at 2100H of July 14th and ended at 0100H of July 15th.  It was a fun night with other volunteers. Seeing the wall as it turn from bland to a colorful mural with our combined strokes was priceless.
