Singapore

Singapore, a bustling metropolis, a melting pot of diverse cultures and races, a dense city home to 5.5 million inhabitants. Vibrant and modern, busy and cosmopolitan. We all picture Singapore as an urban metropolis filled with stylish skyscrapers but unknown to many, the city state has an other side… a contrasting side such as Pulau Ubin.

Pulau Ubin or simply Ubin Island northeast of the city is once a granite quarrying island and considered as one of the few remaining rural villages of Singapore.

A day of strolling and biking in the trails of Ubin is like traveling back to old Singapore where life was still simple and slow. With abundance of natural flora and fauna, beautiful lakes and serene idyllic shores, it is definitely Singapura’s secret corner.
