Superferry Vessels Sail Again

As of Wednesday, September 23, 2009, Maritime Industry Authority (Marina) already allowed seven Aboitiz’ Superferry vessels that passed the inspections to accept passengers and cargo. This was after the suspension of all Aboitiz Transport System Corporation (ATSC) vessels due to the sinking of SuperFerry 9.
The vessels allowed to sail again are as follows:
- SuperFerry2, serving the following ports out of Manila: Cebu, Cagayan de Oro, Butuan and Iloilo
- SuperFerry19, serving the following ports out of Manila: Zamboanga, General Santos, Davao, Surigao, Bacolod, Cotabato and Dumaguete
- SuperFerry12, serving the following ports out of Manila: Cebu and Cagayan de Oro
- Cebu Ferry1, serving the following ports out of Cebu: Cagayan de Oro, Jagna and Dumaguete
- Cebu Ferry2, serving the following ports out of Cebu: Nasipit, Jagna
- MV Our Lady of Good Voyage, serving the following ports out of Manila: Coron, Puerto Princesa, Tagbilaran
- MV Our Lady of Rule, serving the following ports out of Manila: Iloilo, Ozamis
The three remaining vessels are on regular dry dock, the SuperFerry1, SuperFerry5 and MV Our Lady of Mount Carmel, they are not being used but will still be up for inspection.
